Company of Animals launches a range of self-cleaning nanotechnology dog coats

Training and behaviour expert, The Company of Animals, is launching a range of futuristic dog coats that are made from a revolutionary self-cleaning material.

The Dog Gone Smart quilted coats are the most technologically advanced on the market. In creating the ultimate pet fabric, designers mimicked the leaves of certain plants that stay clean because dirt cannot stick to their finely-structured surfaces.

Using nanotechnology, the fabric manufacturer has transferred this natural non-stick cleaning process, also known as the self-cleaning effect, onto the textile’s surface. The result is an invisible structured textile surface that’s 100 per cent stain- and water-resistant.

Because Dog Gone Smart coats stay cleaner for longer you don’t have to wash them as often as some coats on the market. When you do wash them they come out looking like brand new. They are machine washable with only a very small amount of detergent needed and their special protective finish remains functional even after 50 wash cycles.

Dog Gone Smart quilted coats are wonderfully soft and have adjustable neck and belly closures to ensure a perfect fit. They are made from 100 per cent quilted cotton canvas outer shells with corduroy collars and trim, and fleece lining to keep your dog extra warm and dry.

It is especially important that single-coated breeds and older dogs are adequately protected from the elements during winter. Dogs who suffer from arthritis, or other conditions that can be aggravated by the cold, benefit greatly from cosy coats too.

Dog Gone Smart products are highly abrasion resistant and durable, making them last longer and saving you money.

Dog Gone Smart quilted coats are available in a range of sizes from 10 to 28 inches and come in a choice of brown, navy and red.
