ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BRAND STORY FROM THE COMPANY OF ANIMALS

The Company of Animals is looking to focus on its core products following the elimination of the FURminator brand from its range this month.

Renowned for its innovative selection of behavioural correction products, The Company of Animals (COA) established a successful partnership with FURminator in 2008 and since then they have established a strong foothold in the grooming & pet sector.

Now, having realised its goal, COA is passing back the reins to FURminator and will be concentrating on achieving greater growth within its existing and exciting new ranges.

Marketing & Business Development Manager, Liz McGuinness, said: “The relationship with FURminator was formed in 2008 and resulted in a phenomenal product launch and domination in the grooming sector over the past three years.

“The Company of Animals Team is renowned for its excellent distribution and brand building acumen, with success stories like HALTI, CLIX, Pet Corrector, Pet Head and Nina Ottosson, we now feel the time is right to pass another well established brand back to the manufacturer, to continue to build on the platform of success that we have achieved. As a result, the Company of Animals will be ceasing to distribute the FURminator brand as of the 20th May 2011.”

Founded by animal behaviourist, Dr Roger Mugford, The Company of Animals has become one of the UK’s leading specialists in dog behaviour and training products, designed to achieve a positive outcome in pet training.  COA design and manufacture a wide range of acclaimed products, including, for example, the HALTI, Pet Corrector, Coachies and CLIX training range.
